Designing in Nottinghamshire, working out of a unit near Sherwood forest.
Previously having studied fashion design in Derby I have, as a result, worked for Courtaulds and Coates Viyella designing ladies and children’s wear for high street stores such as Marks & Spencer during the 1980’s and early 90’s.
Developing a real love for furniture and soft furnishings, I achieved “City & Guilds” status in upholstery.
Using my skills as a pattern cutter, machinist and upholsterer, I create contemporary, soft furnishing designs that really work for both adults and children, taking inspiration from all kinds of art, design, mediums and environments, looking for problems in existing creations and finding solutions.
Making all products by hand, I aim to craft high quality pieces for customers to love using and visually appreciate having in their environments.
